What Forever Will Be

Isaiah 54

For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee.
In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the Lord thy Redeemer.
10 For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee.

I was contemplating this evening that two of the things in my life that were great sources of stress and anxiety for me (discouraging things that just didn't seem like they would ever get any better) started to get better after I read the following from Elder Uchtdorf's 2011 October Conference Talk:
"...please understand that what you see and experience now is not what forever will be. You will not feel loneliness, sorrow, pain, or discouragement forever. We have the faithful promise of God that He will neither forget nor forsake those who incline their hearts to Him."
